Bristol Community Organization Gives Thanks

BCO Greeting Card

BCO Greeting Card

It is with great honor to receive a thank you/ holiday card from the Bristol Community Organization.

They’ve shown the Bristol-Towpath BNI Chapter great support throughout 2009.

We could have never pulled off a successful Food and Toy Drive without the BCO’s help and dedication to give back to the community.

The Bristol-Towpath BNI Chapter thanks the Bristol Community Organization for everything they’ve helped us accomplish in 2009 with charity giving events and looks forward to entering 2010 with much more anticipated events towards giving back to the community and enabling those less fortunate.

BNI Toy Drive - 09

Bristol-Towpath BNI Chapter believes that the holiday season is not about the perfect gift or the biggest tree. Holidays are about doing for others. No matter how tough times are, the Bristol-Towpath BNI Chapter seems to always comes through for families in need. Last month they held a sommunity food drive that fed two familes consisting of 8-10 people. On December 16th, with the help of The Bristol Community Organization they donated new unwrapped toys to families making sure their son or daughter will have a toy this holiday.

Bristol BNI Giver-Gain Food Drive

Bristol Towpath BNI Chapter would like to thank all those in the community who helped with our Givers-Gain Food Drive. During the month of November, we collected over five large boxes filled with food & general household products, and raised enough money to purchase two $25 gift cards to be used for Thanksgiving turkeys.

Special thanks go out to Bristol BCO; without their help we wouldn’t have found two local families in Bristol who were in need of these dontations. It is a hard time for so many people and thankfully we will be able to provide a lovely holiday meal and a few extra items for the upcoming holiday. Thanks to all who made this possible. We hope to continue giving back to the community with many future events to come.
